The Sound Labs: Music beyond limitations

Discover a new way to create with sound.

This class offers a relaxed and playful space to explore music, voice, and creativity. No previous experience needed. Whether you’re curious about sound, interested in writing lyrics or poetry, or simply looking for a new creative outlet, this is a welcoming environment where you can experiment freely and build confidence at your own pace.

Ivy Dreams will guide you through a journey that begins with open exploration—playing with sound, voice, and ideas—and gradually develops into creating your own original piece of work.

Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore music-making, spoken word, and creative expression in a supportive group setting.

As the course progresses, themes such as Dreams will be introduced to inspire deeper creative work and personal expression.

Sound Lab is more than a class—it’s a chance to discover the creative power of sound in a space that is inclusive, exploratory, and genuinely different from anything we’ve offered before.

This project aims to demonstrate that creativity does not require expertise or formal training. Instead it is about creating a space  where curiosity, experimentation and imagination are valued more than polished outcomes.

Open day: 16th July

Featuring four exploratory stations, encouraging. no-pressure exploration and play.

Station One: Taking inspiration from dreams. Participlants to explore images and imagine sounds using everyday objects.

Station Two: Investigating instruments, thinking out of the box, how could they be used in non-traditional ways.

Station Three: Discovering music Technology. Ivy dreams will guide you through elements of digital music production, encouraging play and exploration.

Station Four: Take a moment to sit and listen to music from different genres, feel free to write or draw in response to what you hear.
