Voices, Rhythms & Stories: Honouring Our Communities

Opening: 8 Oct 2026, 09:00 – 16:00

This exhibition brings together a collection of photographs spanning multiple years, documenting the extraordinary artists who have graced our stages and filled our spaces with music, poetry, performance, and presence.

These images capture more than moments frozen in time. From intimate solo performances and powerful spoken word to vibrant jazz ensembles, soulful vocalists, and experimental collaborations, this collection reflects the richness and diversity of talent within our community.

We want to celebrate and honour the Black artists whose voices, visions, and artistry have shaped our cultural landscape.

This exhibition is a testament to their contributions, their creativity, resilience, and the stories they’ve shared with us. It’s a celebration of the spaces we’ve created together, where artists can be fully seen and heard, and where community members can gather to witness, connect, and be moved.
