Throughout July, we hosted an online course, Write Moves, run by Rakhee Jasani and Vanio Papadelli, for women of all ages to come together through mindful movement, yoga and writing, supporting each other to become happier and more confident in their bodies.
Rakhee and Vanio believe that mindful movement, yoga, writing and dance are the perfect tools to find your way through the currently ever-changing circumstances. They explored grounding; flowing and unfurling; seeing and perceiving; listening and joy and celebrating. Stories emerged through movement, visualisation, words and writing. Through the course, friendships were formed and experiences shared.
The final session exploring shape-shifting is available to everyone whether or not they participated in Write Moves thanks to support from The Mayor of London’s Culture Seeds.
