POPLAR PORTRAIT Drawing Taster session

Come join us for a fun and creative evening. Perfect for both beginners and experienced artists looking to improve their portrait drawing skills. An instructor will guide you through the process, offering tips and tricks along the way. Basic materials is provided, just bring your artistic flair! Doors open 6pm. Come early to secure the best spots then settle down with your drink.

What to Expect

We will be drawing each other, with volunteers sitting for 15 minutes. There is a 15-minute break in between. At the end of the session you are encouraged to stay and socialise, have a look at each other’s works, or just enjoy the music and have a drink.

Art materials are provided (A3 drawing paper, pencils, boards). If you prefer you can also bring your own materials (eg sketchbooks). Plus there will be some Poplar Union A5 40pp sketchbooks available to purchase.
