POP Night: Karaoke & Games
Pop Night: Karaoke & Games is a social night of music, games, competitions, open-mic/karaoke performances and much more. This runs on the fourth Thursday of every month from 6:30pm till 10:30pm.
It’s a night for letting loose and getting comfortable with friends and family, as well as an opportunity to form new connections and meet new people. We’ve had a range of events from Date Nights with speed dating and human bingo, to Christmas Parties consisting of scavenger hunts and carol contests.
Our upcoming event is a Disco-Themed night which will be our first collaborative event featuring dancers from the London Wacking Movement.
About Onosé
My name is Onosé and I am a singer/songwriter from Dagenham. Over the last few years, I’ve been performing gigs across London and busking around Oxford Circus and Bond Street. I’ve released a few singles, performed at Wembley Arena, at the MOBOs and at the Royal Albert Hall, and in 2024, I sang on The Voice UK where I was fortunate enough to get three chair turns. From the streets to the stage and even to television, my experiences have allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life. Now I’m taking everything that I’ve gained and bringing it to Poplar Union so that everyone can share in the joy of music and performing for one night each month. Coming from a tight-knit family, I have a deep love and appreciation for community. My hope is to keep creating wholesome opportunities for people to connect more with themselves and each other.
