Plastic Free Poplar Picnic

Join our festive picnic and celebrate the end and achievements of the Plastic Free Poplar Project. 

You are all invited to join our salad bar workshop from 11.30 am. Together we will prepare healthy and nourishing ingredients to create the perfect vegan summer salad and sweet snacks to share.

We set up our picnic blankets in the park and share food from 12.30 pm. We will also have Plastic Free craft activities to keep the little ones entertained.

About Plastic free Poplar

Plastic-free Poplar is a community-led project focused on reducing single-use plastic in and around Chrisp Street market in Poplar, East London. We will support the local community to take action and come together to create a planet-friendly action plan and find practical solutions for the day-to-day, to reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions in our food systems.
