What's On
ON BELONGING: A 6–Week Creative Writing Workshop
What does it mean to belong?
In this six-week, in person, creative writing series, Mofiyinfoluwa O & Listen
Journal, will lead writers into an exploration of the theme of ‘belonging’
– the power to give voices to the stories hidden in our hearts and to occupy the spaces we have dreamt of.
Through assigned readings, writing prompts, feedback and peer-workshops, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their voices, hone their writer’s instinct, be enmeshed in powerful literature and come away with work they are proud of; full of heart and excellent craft.
All participants will be included in a printed collective zine featuring the work developed during the programme.
Selected work will also be featured on listen-journal.com, with the opportunity to submit to Listen’s second print edition “On Belonging”
Who are Listen Journal?

the voices & lived experience of women of colour through storytelling, publishing
