Nari Chetona’s International Women’s Day
As part of our Women in Focus series, Nari Chetona, East-London’s British-Bengali group, celebrates 25 years with this online event of music, panel discussions and screening of a new documentary.
What to expect
To celebrate International of Women’s Day, Nari Chetona have curated a celebration of women’s revolution and achievements in the 50 years since Bangladeshi Independence.

Nari Chetona is an East London based South Asian progressive women group established in 1992. The group delves into intellectual issues in relation to modem feminism, help migrant women to merge in the mainstream, support in developing creativity e.g. music, dance, art, literature, support as well as campaign domestic violence, hosts seminars, discussions, art and music events.
