To finish of our Women in Focus series of Live in the Library Online gigs, Sounds of Salone presents singer Isat to close the month in style!

Sierra Leonean born, London-based pop singer Isat is an Afrobeats/Dancehall artist who uses her soulful voice and Krio language to give her music an interesting spin. Born in Freetown, Isat has always loved music but never really took it further than her bedroom because she was really shy.

At the age of 5, she moved to Holland with her aunt. In Holland, she started singing in church and in doing this, she fell in love with music once more and has since released four tracks “See Me Now”, “New Bae”, “Lovin” and “On Time” of which “New Bae” was featured on MTV base.

Isat is currently in the studio recording new music and getting ready to release new content for her audience.
