Join Peach & Peony for a spooky and creative Halloween afternoon, hosted on a boat at Poplar Cotall Street Market!

Come aboard this Halloween to carve, paint and decorate your very own pumpkin. We encourage everyone to dress up in their favourite spooky Halloween costumes and join in the festive fun!

3:00pm–3:45pm | Adult Pumpkin Carving

A creative Halloween pumpkin carving and decorating session for adults.

Your £10 ticket includes:

One large pumpkin
Pumpkin carving tools
Paint and decorating materials
Tea light for your finished pumpkin
Safety demonstration and workshop guidance

Design, carve, paint and decorate your pumpkin before taking your finished creation home.

Maximum 10 adults.

4:00pm–4:45pm | Family Pumpkin Workshop

A family-friendly session for children aged 8+ accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

One £10 family ticket covers one child + one accompanying adult.

Your ticket includes:

One large pumpkin for the adult to carve
One small pumpkin for the child to paint and decorate
Paint and decorating materials
Pumpkin carving tools for adult use
Tea light for the finished large pumpkin
Safety demonstration and workshop guidance

While the adult designs and carves the large pumpkin, the child can get creative painting and decorating their own small pumpkin.

Maximum 10 people in total, including children. This means only 5 family tickets are available.

Come Dressed for Halloween!

Feel free to come in your favourite spooky outfit, costumes are very welcome!

Pumpkin carving, painting and decorating can get messy, so please wear clothing or costumes you don’t mind getting a little creative in.

As part of our community initiative with Cotall Street Market and Poplar Union, we want to make the workshop affordable and accessible to our local community.

Booking Information

Advance booking is required.

Last booking date: 27 October, or earlier if your chosen session sells out.

As pumpkins and materials are purchased and prepared in advance, tickets are non-refundable once booked.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled session and meet us at Jena, the Canal & River Trust boat, located at Cotall Street Market.

The exact boat location and detailed meeting instructions will be sent to you via email ahead of the event.

Safety

A short safety demonstration will be provided before each workshop.

Pumpkin carving involves sharp tools, so all participants must follow the safety guidance provided during the session.

For the 4pm family session, carving tools are strictly for adult use only. Children will paint and decorate their own small pumpkins without using carving tools and must remain supervised by their accompanying adult throughout the workshop.

As the workshop takes place on a boat, please take extra care when entering, leaving and moving around the space and follow all venue and workshop safety instructions.

Photography

We may take photographs during the workshop to capture the Halloween celebrations and share highlights on Peach & Peony’s website and social media.

We will ask for permission before photographing participants. For children, permission will be requested from their parent or responsible adult.

If you or your child would prefer not to be photographed, simply let us know. This will not affect your participation.
