Come join us for a fun and interactive children’s violin class at Poplar Union! Designed for beginners ONLY. This event is perfect for children who have difficulties accessing affordable music classes and are looking to learn or improve their skills.
Our talented instructors will guide you through the basics and help you develop your technique. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn in a friendly and supportive environment. Grab your violin and let’s make some beautiful music together! Priority will be given to children from low income families and from minority communities. For ages 5 years to 11 years.
About the class
30 min theory followed by 30 min practical lesson
Violins will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. This class are for children who do not have access to any music classes. If you had some lesson’s before. Please speak to the teacher at the beginning of the class and he will advise if the class is suitable.
About the teacher
Tonny, a passionate violinist and teacher with over five years of experience, began playing at age five, nurturing a lifelong love for music. Born in New Zealand to South Korean parents, he bridges English and Korean cultures effortlessly. A graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Tonny has performed in renowned West End productions like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. His students excel in ABRSM exams, often earning High Distinction honors. Believing music is both discipline and joy, Tonny inspires creativity and perseverance, fostering a deep connection to music’s emotional and unifying power in every student he teaches.
