Children’s Creative Workshop – Yarn Art on Canvas

Overview:

Join ARTscape for a fun hands-on creative workshop where children will create their own colourful yarn artwork on canvas.

Using soft yarn and PVA glue, children will explore texture, colour and shape while creating a unique piece of art to take home. This session is designed to encourage creativity, build confidence and provide a welcoming environment for families.

All materials will be provided and no prior experience is needed.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 5–11. This is a parent/carer supervised session.

Q/A:

Do parents need to stay?
Yes. This is a supervised session and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Are the materials safe?
We will be using PVA glue and yarn. While these materials are commonly used in children’s activities, parents/carers are responsible for assessing suitability for their child (e.g. allergies, sensitivities).

What should my child wear?
Clothes suitable for art activities. We recommend wearing clothing that can get messy.

Can younger or older siblings attend?
This session is designed for ages 5–11. If you require bringing children of other ages, please contact us in advance.
