An Introduction to 3D Printing
Want to learn about 3D printing and design? Join facilitator, Fabi Begolli, in this fun and interactive workshop giving young minds a place to play with 3D design and bring work to life using 3D printing.
What to expect
In this introductory session, participants will learn the basics of computer aided design using an easy to learn design software called Tinkercad, which you may already be familiar with in your schools. In the workshop you will design a funky, personalised keychain in any style and design you’d like! After the workshop, your design will be printed off site then posted to you the following week.
Fabi is running two workshops which will cover the same theme. The workshops are for 8-11 year olds but we recommend an adult accompany their child.
About Fabian Begolli
“I have always loved the creative side of life; when I was young, I would love making cool contraptions with cardboard and anything I could find in the house and even take things apart to see what’s inside and how it works -which would often get me in trouble! Fast forward to today, I have recently completed my studies in Product Design and am well versed in using multiple design softwares and love to use my 3D printers and laser cutter to make fun projects and useful tools.”
