Poplar Union is delighted to announce Winter Art exhibition, a celebration of the creative work produced by participants of the centre’s weekly drop-in creative group Create Draw Meet.

This diverse exhibition marks the first public display of artwork by adults who have taken part in Create Draw Meet sessions throughout the year. Led by Keren McConnell, a textile designer and educator, Create Draw Meet offers a welcoming space for people of all skill levels to explore drawing, painting and textile arts, chat to new people and drink tea. 

The Winter Art exhibition will showcase a diverse range of works including watercolours, gouache, textiles, collage and conceptual work, highlighting the creativity and talent nurtured in this fun community group. Many participants have been regular attendees for several years and some are brand new to the group. This inaugural exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and experience the unique voices of your Neighbours. The exhibition is free to attend and is open to all, offering a festive celebration of community, creativity, and artistic expression.
