Cotall Street Market: ChocLix

Oozing with fun, my seductively scrumptious Choclix traybake goodies are bringing a little Celtic sparkle to the Big Smoke

Whenever I’m busy baking my delicious Choclix treats, I like to imagine how they’ll be enjoyed. Maybe it’s a family picnicking in the sun, diving into a plate of my gorgeously gooey Choclix Brownies, or a young designer chomping down on my indulgent Toffee Cocoa Slice after a tough Monday meeting.

But my own choccy inspired journey begins in Scotland. Growing up, Mum was always baking. Granny too. Every week, there were coffee mornings or neighborhood parties to host, and at the centre of these events were Mum’s much-loved chocolate traybakes. All the recipes were neatly recorded in Mum’s special brown book, with lists of our local friends, who never failed to join the fun, remembered at the back. Mum’s chocolate delights cheered our community through many a rainy Scottish winter – and rainy summer too!

That recipe book went missing for many years. But one day, when I was dreaming of creating and selling traybakes from my corporate desk at Canary Wharf, I got a call from Dad. Mum’s little brown book had been found. And Choclix traybakes left the tartan isles to beguile the taste buds of London.

My Choclix goodies can be indulgent, playful, naughty, or just a tender reward to yourself for getting through the day. Choose what suits your mood or your moment, from slices of my luxurious Not Rocky Road to a cooling bottle of Choclix Milk with a cheeky red and white straw for the kids as a playground snack. We even have a protein Choclix treat for those London runners who like a shot of energy with a seductive choco twist.

Join our growing community of Choclix regulars at my stall in Cotall Street Market every Saturday from 10am-4pm. Have a taste, have a chat, share the fun.
