Kid’s Drama Club!

Drama club is for 6-10 year olds full of fun and creativity! With a different theme each week, classes will encourage confidence and self-belief through drama and play

What to expect

In this class, you can expect to have lots of fun and discovery! Exploring drama, poetry and spoken word. Facilitator, Imogen, will support participants in gaining confidence and expressing themselves in a safe and inspiring space. This class will involve lots of exciting drama games and exercises that will illuminate different ways to create poetry. There will also be opportunities to learn about stage presence and performance. Topics and themes that are important to the young people, will be the most important explored focus throughout the classes.

Teacher: Imogen Faires

Imogen Faires embarked professionally into the creative scene in the west end’s production of Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. From her East London base she began screen work a couple years after that, performing in recurring and lead roles for ITV, BBC, CBBC and Nickelodeon. Training at The Brit School in 2018-2020 refined her work as a performer, director, writer, poet and facilitator. Her craft developed further in her latest role as a ‘Cultural Leader’ at Theatre Peckham, where she facilitated their Spoken Word Theatre Company, and hosted an array of events.
