Kids Drama Club

Join the 10-week Drama Club with actor and facilitator Lara Grace Ilori! Your child will develop essential performing skills, culminating in a live Christmas performance on the stage of Poplar Union. Give them the chance to build confidence, creativity, and have fun!

We’re back for a new term at Poplar Union and are excited to welcome you all again!

Term Dates:
First day back: Wednesday, 8th October
Last day: Wednesday, 10th December

Classes will continue throughout the October half-term, making this a 10-class term for £40.

Special Offer:
If you book and pay for the full term in advance, your child will receive the last class (10th December) free, making this £36. If you’d like to take advantage of this full-term block discount, please click Register Here, fill out the form, then we’ll email you a payment booking link.

Please note we will no longer be taking payment at the door. This adjustment will help us make arrivals smoother at the door.

Looking ahead to January 2026, we’ll be introducing a small change to pricing and creating two ticket options:
– £5 per class booked on Eventbrite only
– £4 per class if you book the full term in advance (with the last class free)

About Lara

Lara Grace Ilori is co-founder of multi-disciplinary creative laboratory ILXIAH – curating performances, masterclasses and private forums for creators to share and discuss their practice. As co-founder, Lara regularly works with artists in the entertainment and visual art industry. She brings over 6 years of freelance and contracted experience as a performer, facilitator and producer in the creative industries and charitable sector, spanning Europe, the USA, and Nigeria. Lara’s expertise lay in freelance business administration, event production, artist liaison, workshop facilitation and venue management. Currently, Lara works as Community Coordinator and a lead workshop facilitator for East London-based social impact organisation Purple Moon Drama.
