Sylvie Belbouab: Women on Water

Sylvie Belbouab:

Women on Water
photography exhibition

Exhibition runs from 18 April–5 May
Open every day 9am–6pm
Opening night 18 April, 4.30pm–6.30pm

What began as a small project to get more women into blue spaces, has grown into a formidable boat club boasting over 50 passionate paddlers. With time, Oar & Explore has boldly demonstrated women of colour breaking barriers into a world commonly perceived as exclusive and inaccessible.

Join us for the launch of our photography exhibition to traverse the journeys of the club’s women through water. Each photograph taken by Sylvie Belbouab voices the determination of each woman in conquering new skills, and above all, developing a strong network of women supporting women.
