Join us for 10 weeks from 24th January in an exploration of drumming from around the world.
Drumming is unlike any other form of musical expression in that it carries profound and scientifically proven health benefits, from cardio health to our levels of happiness. In partnership with Mindful Music, an award winning education programme, we are delighted to offer our local 8-16 year olds the opportunity to learn a variety of drumming and percussion skills, whilst also building awareness and teamwork skills for greater wellbeing. From samba drumming to body percussion and song writing, we have something for everyone!
When: Tuesdays 4pm-4.50pm (8-11 year olds), 5pm-5.50pm (12-16 year olds)
Where: Poplar Union, 2 Cotall St. Poplar, E14 6TL
Sign your child up for the 10-week workshop for £25 by emailing Martha on music@poplarunion.com
