Magic Me present: Generation Rebellion – The Power of Intergenerational Activism
Join Magic Me for a film screening, workshop and Q&A. Encounter fresh perspectives and discover the power of intergenerational activism!
What to expect
Generation Rebellion brings together older and younger women from East London to explore being a team of women activists; redefining how generations can support each other to tackle climate crisis. Their journey was captured by Colloquial Collective in two short films.
Hear from these powerful women aged 12–80+ and navigate feelings of climate activism through conversation and activities. The event is hosted by the group alongside Artist Sue Mayo and Activist Maz Koshika and includes a free ‘activist’ notebook!
“I am really empowered to be joining others. When we are together, the voice is heavier. The voice is stronger. That’s the only way we can influence the change we want.” Generation Rebellion group member
“That was the best thing I’ve been to since I came here. Everything is so linear and we are having stuff delivered to us. You let us talk to each other. And those women, young and old – inspirational!” – Audience member COP26 event
