Community Litter Pick with Sunny Jar Eco Hub

Meet your neighbours and lend a hand keeping your community clean and looking it’s best for Summer- there’s even a prize for whoever collects the most litter, what more could you ask for?!

What to expect

Sunny Jar Eco Hub invite you to join them in giving our local community a bit of TLC with this free community litter pick. As the weather (hopefully!) warms up and we all look to our parks and gardens for a bit of summer refuge, what better time to come together and do some good for our neighbourhood!

This event is open to people of all ages and you will be provided with bags, gloves and pickers (you’re welcome to bring your own gloves if you’d prefer!). Not only will this event get Poplar looking fabulous, it’s also a great way to protect local wildlife and an opportunity to learn all about a brand new eco-scheme: Plastic Free Poplar.

Still not convinced? Well, whoever collects the most litter will be given two free tickets to Sunny Jar’s upcoming Nature Trail where you’ll be making natural garlands and bunting and upcycled bee hotels! Now that’s far from rubbish!
