Aponghor’s 5th year anniversary

Founded and led by Sohel Ahmed, Aponghor is an LGBTQ+ group for the Bangladeshi community living and loving in the UK!

Join Aponghor as they celebrate their 5-year anniversary at Poplar Union.

Aponghor meet-ups are a lifeline to the Bengali LGBTQIA+ community, providing advice on everything from housing to sexual health, asylum seeking, family support and social events. Aponghor marched in the London Pride Parade for the last four years and even appeared on the big screens of Piccadilly Circus when Covid stopped the parade from happening in 2020.

Aponghor is open to people of all genders from the Bengali LGBTQIA+ community and their friends!
