British Asian women, we want to hear your stories! Stories about your sexual life, told from your unique cultural point of view. Join Sangeeta Pillai Lander at this informal creative writing workshop and together write & craft your unique tales.

What to expect

Sangeeta is looking for funny stories. Sad stories. Saucy stories. Weird stories. All kinds of stories, really, telling the world how sex looks and feels from your point of view. Stories that you haven’t had the space to tell yet.

Let’s be honest. There are no places for British Asian women to talk about sex. Certainly not in the culture we come from, nor in modern British culture where we’re seen as asexual creatures.

Fear not, all your stories will be kept anonymous. So feel free to be as honest and open as you like!

The End Game

Once your stories are collected, chosen and curated, Sangeeta will work with theatre professionals and actors to create – drum roll please – a theatrical production of THE MASALA MONOLOGUES!

Coming to a theatre near you in 2018 (fingers, toes & everything else crossed), so make sure you get involved!
