Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Sarah Anderson ONLINE

Due to the new government restrictions, we will now be running these yoga classes via Zoom!

Vinyasa flow is a creative way to open and restore your natural energy, it works to bring balance to your body and mind, strengthen and lengthen your limbs and bring a sense of wellbeing and flow to everyday life.

What to expect

This is a live, interactive class where Sarah can guide you through this tension releasing yoga class. Sarah’s aim is to empower people to be the best versions of themselves, teaching people to start exactly where they are, listen to their bodies and challenge the limitations of their minds. Sarah teaches the fundamentals of yoga with an emphasis on placement and getting people to understand how to activate the body in yoga poses, with an understanding that we are all unique and that it’s OK to not all look the same when we are doing yoga. Sarah teaches breath work (pranayama) and yoga philosophy- a truly holistic approach to yoga teaching.

Once you’ve booked your ticket, you will receive an email the day of the session with the Zoom details to join the class, as well as any further information you’re need beforehand.

4 WEEK COURSE (18 Jan – 8 Feb OR 15 Feb – 8 Mar)

Sarah is now offering a ticket bundle of 4 sessions for just £10. The 4 weeks will work like a course where you will focus on something new each week. Perfect for beginners. Just select the £10 course ticket option at checkout (19 Jan or 15 Feb) and this will give you access to the 4 consecutive sessions.

Week 1 – Exploring and understanding yogic breath and posture alignment and begin to develop body awareness. Basic asana of sun salutation A and B which is the foundation of vinyasa yoga, ending the class with a guided relaxation to calm the mind.

Week 2 – Breath awareness meditation and setting affirmations . Building on week 1 and learning the basic standing postures, understanding how to use props and make modifications in the poses. Finishing with a guided relaxation.

Week 3 – Alternative nasal breathing exercise Nadi Shodhana to still the mind, setting intentions for your practice and building on weeks 1 and 2. Learning floors postures and grounding techniques. Finishing with a short relaxation Shavasana.

Week 4 – Starting with a breath meditation, bringing the whole sequence together, exploring the bhandas which are our natural energy locks and finishing  with a deep guided relaxation.

Sarah is 300 hr Yoga alliance Teacher specialising in Vinyasa flow yoga, Partner Yoga and Pregnancy yoga With over 15 years’ experience as a Bodywork therapist, Counsellor and Mindfulness Teacher.
