Sunny Jar Eco Hub needs your help to achieve their vision

Creating a place where we can all learn and share skills on how to live more sustainably. They currently run on an entirely voluntary basis and need your support to make their enterprise a reality. All donations on the night will go towards establishing the Eco Hub.

Sunny Jar Eco Hub Mission

• Connect local eco-initiatives, with the aim to be the go-to hub for eco-living topics in the community.

• Hold sustainable living workshops and educational sessions, encouraging the sharing of skills and social connections, as well as promoting environmental issues and how to save money through low-impact living.

• Develop a bulk buying group for local residents to make unpackaged dry whole foods and ethical cleaning products more accessible.

• Start a “Library of Things” that will reduce the need for local residents to buy rarely used items and promote a sharing economy with greater community connections.

About Sunny Jar Eco Hub

The Sunny Jar Eco Hub is an idea that was conceived by three local residents: Priscilla, Maud and Linda. With the growing problem of plastic in our oceans and streets, we wanted to encourage others to live more thoughtfully; making a positive contribution to our local area and the environment. Our name represents our vision. ‘Sunny’ because we want to create a bright, happy and optimistic place for people to connect. ‘Jar’ symbolizes the concepts of recycling, reusing, crafting and resilience- in contrast to the throwaway lifestyle.
