Whether you’re looking to brush up your Quickstep, unleash your Foxtrot or are a complete beginner hoping to experience a range of new styles, come along to our Social Dance, make new friends along the way – and keep fit, too!
What to expect
This class will consist of approximately 1 hour of instruction, a break for tea and coffee followed by a mixed and varied social dancing session (timings may change as the course progresses) where you will have the opportunity to practice the steps you have learned in a relaxed social environment and build on these from week to week.
You’ll focus on popular Modern, Latin and Sequence routines, including dances such as the Saunter Together, Mayfair Quickstep, Catherine Waltz and the Queen of Hearts Rumba to name a few, plus the many current Line Dances released, and the advantage with these is that no partner is necessary.
Practice Makes Perfect!
Our Social Dance sessions are the ideal way to put into practice what is learnt, with a huge variety of musical styles that will keep the class upbeat and fun!
