“Embroidery is a process of conveying and capturing stories. Behind every embroidered piece there is a story.”
– Kirsty Whitlock, Artist
Artist, Milou Stella, is inviting you to stitch with her at this fortnightly embroidery meet up, and contribute to a community wall hanging. What’s your story?
What to expect
Milou will guide you through the process of embroidery step by step. Share a memory, bring a photo, stitch a message to someone you love or lost. This intimate project has ‘you’ at its heart.
Materials are provided but you’re welcome to bring a sentimental piece of fabric that you’re happy to donate to the final piece.

Review
“It was really calming and rich for my soul to spend 2 hours doing embroidery and chatting with Milou from Moody Bright Designs. I needed to try something new and meet new people and I did, it was really heart-warming ” – Inês, participant
