What's On

Moo Canoes Paddleboarding – Family Paddle

Is it a fish?  Is it a new species of waterfowl? Is it the offspring of a surfboard and a canoe? No, it’s stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), the latest craze to hit the Limehouse Cut, brought to you by Poplar Union and Moo Canoes! This decidedly different sport is a fantastically fun way to get out and enjoy the water.

Get the family out of the house and out on the water! All abilities are welcome!

Please note, participants will usually need to be 10 years old to paddle and control their own board. Under 10’s can share a board with a competent kneeling adult. No unaccompanied under 18s are allowed.

Bookings need to be made at least 36 hours before the session – to book at shorter notice, please call Moo Canoes directly on 07879 909 423.

What to bring:

All equipment is provided including personal buoyancy aids – all you need is a fun-loving attitude, some sensible footwear (closed-toed, grippy and not too precious – old trainers are great), a degree of water confidence, a warm/waterproof layer and a change of clothes, just in case! Poplar Union is fully equipped with changing rooms, showers and 20p lockers for any valuables.

Where to meet:

The meeting point for all Moo Canoes sessions is:

Poplar Union, 2 Cotall Street, Poplar, E14 6TL
