A workshop covering ‘Mixed Mental Arts’ 101: a toolkit to help you kick-start your personal resilience journey. Facilitated by resilience expert Michael Matania (Mind / Tough Cookie).

What to expect

Join resilience specialist Michael Matania for an interactive seminar in which attendees will receive a crash course in mental toughness. Michael will guide you through a series of experiments using your own mind, show you the latest scientific insights into the emerging research field of psychological resilience and give you an introduction to ‘Mixed Mental Arts’ – a toolkit of practical techniques designed to manage cognitive & emotional overwhelm more skilfully and sustainably.

About Michael Matania

Michael made his reputation working as a resilience specialist for the national mental health charity Mind. He co-created the ‘Mindkit’ resilience programme which provided resilience training to 16,000 students and teachers in London, he launched the ‘Employee Champions’ Network with the national ‘Time to Change’ campaign and was a co-designer of the ‘Whole School Approach’ to Mental Health National Strategy for England & Wales.
