To book, please purchase a ticket for Sunday 25 February 2018. This £15 ticket is for the entire four-week course.

A four-week course using meditation and movement that offers a route map to creatively and therapeutically approaching loss, sickness, injury, ageing and disability.

This is a course for any adult seeking to engage with pre-existing health conditions and stressful situations, to be better able to get up in the morning and live a rich and fulfilling life. No prior experience of meditation or movement is needed. If you are interested, consult your health professional initially to discuss whether this course is suitable for you.

About the facilitators

Jane Belshaw and Raphael Jay Adjani are two experienced teachers and practitioners drawing on over 30 years of practice in the creative arts, movement and meditation.

Their approach

Their approach to healing, wellbeing and recovery draws on the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi: broken pottery is repaired with lacquer mixed with powdered gold and the renewed object is considered to have its own beauty and richness. Kintsugi treats the fact that we ‘break’ as part of the weave of life rather than something to disguise. It encompasses acceptance of change as a nourishing aspect of human life. Our Kintsugi is the art of embracing “damage” and celebrating the “imperfect.”
