British Asian women, are you ready to write your stories? Stories about your sexual lives, told from your unique cultural point of view. Stories to be featured in MASALA MONOLOGUES™, the spicier British Asian version of the Vagina Monologues.

What to expect

Together with facilitator Sangeeta Lander, writer and creator of MASALA MONOLOGUES™, you’ll be writing monologues, not just about sex and sexuality, but all those aspects of life touched by our sexual selves: getting our periods, growing up, exploring our sexuality, giving birth, growing older…the range of the stories can be as varied as our lives as British Asian women.

Once your stories are collected, chosen and curated, you’ll be working with theatre professionals, directors, producers and actors to create…drum roll please….a theatrical production of MASALA MONOLOGUES™. Coming to a theatre near you in 2018 (fingers, toes & everything else crossed), so make sure you get involved!

Please note, you can take part anonymously. All contributions and stories will also be anonymised in the finished production.
