A Journey from Dash to Diganta is a haunting depiction of the plight and progress of South Asian women in the UK through discussion, live music and poetry.

About the event

This event features intellectual talks on the 2018 International Women’s Day theme of #PressforProgress, along with the plight and progress of South Asian Women in the UK.

There will be live music performed by well-known South Asian female singers, and poetry readings discussing women and culture from highly acclaimed poets.

The event has been organised by Nari Chetona in partnership with Poplar Union and Humane First Movement. Nari Chetona is a women’s right platform working in East London since 1995.
