Cookie Making, Nature Trail & Outdoor Crafts

We’re teaming up with e5 Poplar Bakehouse and Sunny Jar Eco Hub to host a summer cookie making workshop and outdoor craft session with a nature trail for local families! Come join in the fun and learn new skills!

What to expect

Join Sunny Jar for a trail exploring the natural surroundings of Bartlett Park and the Limehouse Cut. Together we’ll be gathering summer treasures for some earth-friendly crafts activities as well as getting stuck into some litter-picking!

Once you’ve foraged leaves and flower petals, you will then go into the small studio at Poplar Union for a craft session. Your little ones will be shown how to Hapa zome, the Japanese art of flower and leaf pounding.

The craft session will be followed by a cookie making workshop with e5 Poplar Bakehouse. Roll out and cut your cookie dough and if you haven’t eaten all of yours, take some home with you to share with your family & friends!

This is a partially outdoor event, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring sun cream, hats and waterproofs/umbrellas in case the weather turns.
